格拉斯哥大學成立于1451年，迄今爲止已有500多年的曆史，是全英國曆史最悠久的大學之一。大學位于英國蘇格蘭的西海岸格拉斯哥市，與愛丁堡遙遙相對，也是通往蘇格蘭高地和各大湖區的入口。
