The core specialist sports are golf, swimming, tennis and triathlon. Specialist training facilities, coaching and sports science support, alongside funding to support competition costs are provided in these sports. Study fees may also be covered depending on individual circumstances. The University of Stirling boasts excellent facilities including the Scottish National Tennis Centre and the Scottish National Swiming Academy as well as a state-of-the-art fitness and conditioning centre. Stirling holds a strong tradition in supporting talented student-athletes.
